A silky, stable fatty acid base

This fatty acid base is stable and has a low irritation profile. Base MBK exhibits excellent mold release characteristics and does not require mold lubrication. It has a low melting point (body temperature). Base MBK has emulsifying properties and may be used as a water-absorbing suppository base as well.
