Natural Surfactants! Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)-Free and Paraben-Free! PCCA VersaBase Shampoo is a mixture of different natural surfactants derived from corn and olives, which may be used both for pharmaceutical and cosmetic purposes, as well as in liquid soap formulas. The combination of olive and corn surfactants promotes better cleaning power and makes the formula less irritating.
VersaBase Shampoo contains hydrating substances that help hair to be more malleable as well. It is appropriate for all types of hair, including color-treated hair.
VersaBase Shampoo can be used with a variety of active ingredients. With its creamy foam and cleaning power, it also is recommended for vet formulations, as it is ideal for the treatment of animal fur.
This base has a basic pH of approximately 7.8. It may be necessary to correct the pH for your formulations, depending upon the active ingredient(s).
