What are the requirements regarding the disposal of equipment used to compound hazardous drugs (e.g., jars, spindles, syringes, etc.)?

Any items used in the process of compounding HDs must be disposed as hazardous waste and “comply with all applicable federal, state and local regulations.” Local waste removal providers should be able to guide you in how to comply with these regulations.
